Kāpiti Coast, NZ
Let's get your backyard blooming again.
Quality lawn and garden care, season by season, for a healthier, more enjoyable outdoor space.
What I do
Simple, honest garden care
Everything your garden needs to stay healthy, tidy, and enjoyable throughout the year.
Lawn mowing
Regular or one-off mows, edging included, clippings tidied away — timed to suit how fast coastal grass actually grows through the seasons, not a fixed weekly slot.
Hedge & shrub trims
Clean lines and healthy growth, shaped to suit your garden and stand up to coastal wind exposure.
Garden bed tidy-ups
Mulching, pruning and deadheading so beds look cared for — mulch matters more here, since sandy coastal soil dries out faster than inland gardens.
Seasonal clean-ups
Leaf clearing, green waste removal, and getting gardens ready for the next season, with an eye on how salt air and wind affect what thrives here.
How it works
Every property's different, and so is every budget. Tell me what matters most to you — a fortnightly mow, a one-off tidy before summer, just the hedges — and I'll put together a plan that fits.
About
A well-kept backyard makes it easier to enjoy your home, season after season.
I'm based on the Kāpiti Coast and provide straightforward garden care across the local area. From the first quote through to the work itself, you'll deal with the same person every step of the way.
I like the satisfaction of seeing a garden come together, whether it's tackling an overgrown section or keeping on top of the jobs that make a difference over time. Every property has its own character, so I take the time to understand the space and the care it needs.
— here for the long grass, not just the quick mow.

Stories from the Soil
This is my own garden — the level of care I bring to it is exactly what I'll bring to yours — regular mowing, edging, hedge trims and edible garden care that keep outdoor spaces healthy and well cared for all year round.

Questions
Good to know
Most lawns here do well with a mow every 1–2 weeks through spring and summer, stretching to monthly over winter. Coastal growing conditions vary a lot by section though, so I'll suggest a schedule based on your actual lawn once I've seen it.
There's no fixed price list — every section is a different size and starting condition, so I quote based on your property and what you need done. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote.
Both. Regular fortnightly or monthly visits, a one-off tidy-up before a sale or visitors, or anything in between — whatever suits you.

Yes — clippings are tidied up as part of every mow, and I can take away garden waste from bigger clean-ups too.
It does. Kāpiti's coastal sections deal with salt exposure, wind, and sandier soil than you'd get further inland, and that affects everything from mowing height to how often a lawn needs feeding. I work with local conditions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
No — most regular clients aren't. We'll sort access when we set up your schedule.
